Starting 2023 on the right foot! 🎊🎆🍾 🎉 Starting 2023 on the right foot! 🎊🎆🍾 🎉 In our first meeting of the year, we discussed current affairs and international politics related to Brazil 🇧🇷 and India 🇮🇳(countries that we will represent at #NMUN in New York) and what their roles as global players will be in the following months. Students from @westf_hochschule , together with th Students from @westf_hochschule , together with their fellow colleagues of the @uni_trier (@trimun.official), attended their first pre NMUN conference in Burg #Blankenheim (#BlankMUN) as preparation for @nationalmodelun to be held in #NewYork 2023. “Adapting energy system for energy security and clima change mitigation” and “Addresing food security in a globalized world” were the topics discussed during the assembly’s simulation of the Economic and Social Plenary (#ECOSOC) of the @unitednations #OneStepCloser #NMUN #NMUN2023 🌎✈️ @kobe_cufs @unistgallen @germun.official @nmunhsg
📌 About 30 high school students from Recklingha 📌 About 30 high school students from Recklinghausen and Datteln gained their first experience as diplomats at the National Model United Nations in Classroom (#MUNIC) conference. This school project has been carried out by the @westf_hochschule through the National Model United Nations (#nmunwhs) in Recklinghausen since 2017. 👏👏👏 👉 By acting as a representative of the @unitednations -member states 👨‍💼👩‍💼, the students develop their leadership skills and get better chances to strengthening the potential for success in academic futures: international politics experience, cooperation, diplomatic solutions and responsibility. 🕊️ #OneStepCloser #NMUN #NMUN2023 🌎✈️@nationalmodelun @trimun.official @kobe_cufs @unistgallen @germun.official @nmunhsg
📌A day like today, the @unitednations General A 📌A day like today, the @unitednations General Assembly adopted in 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), a milestone document, which proclaims the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
