From Berlin to Cologne: the journey continues! 🌍 From Berlin to Cologne: the journey continues! 🌍 After an inspiring and insightful week in Berlin, our WHS NMUN team travelled to Cologne to take part in GerMUN! 🤩 The conference gave our delegates the opportunity to further strengthen their debating, negotiation, and diplomacy skills in a dynamic Model United Nations environment. 💪 Representing many different countries across different committees, our delegates engaged in intense discussions, built new connections, and experienced once again how important dialogue and cooperation are in international politics. GerMUN was not only a chance to apply what they had learned so far, but also to grow as a team and as future diplomats. 🤝 A big thank you to the @germun.official organizers for hosting such a well-structured and inspiring conference! 🤩 With new experiences, fresh perspectives, and even more motivation, we continue our preparation for NMUN New York later this month. 🇳🇿✨ #WHSNMUN #GERmun #ModelUN #Diplomacy #PreparationForNMUN
Four days. Countless perspectives. One unforgettab Four days. Countless perspectives. One unforgettable experience. 🌍🫶 From Monday to Thursday morning, WHS NMUN had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in diplomacy beyond the conference room. We met the Japanese delegation for a wonderful dinner and exchanged views on international cooperation and current global challenges. Sharing our experiences and getting to know each other better made it an especially meaningful evening. Thank you for this inspiring exchange! 🇯🇵 At the Federal Foreign Office, we gained valuable insights into Germany’s foreign policy and its multilateral engagement. Of course, New Zealand was of particular importance to us, and we learned more about the German–New Zealand relationship. 💪 The New Zealand Embassy welcomed us for an inspiring discussion on sustainability and international partnership. We felt truly welcome and had an engaging and insightful conversation. Once again, thank you @nzinberlin for this opportunity! 🇳🇿 Walking through the Bundestag reminded us of the responsibility that comes with democratic decision-making. Meeting @frank.schwabe and his team and having such an open and insightful conversation was another highlight of our trip! ✨ At the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, we reflected on political education and the importance of dialogue in shaping the future. Speaking with someone who lived in New Zealand for many years further sharpened our perspective and helped our delegates better understand what it truly means to represent New Zealand. A big thank you to @fesonline 🙏🏻 These days strengthened not only our understanding of international relations but also our motivation to represent our assigned country with knowledge, respect, and diplomacy.
